Cleaning up lineart

Leveling the lineart

Now we shall clean up the image.

Go to Image > Adjustments > Levels and you should get an dialogue box like this:


Move around the arrows and/or use the dropper tools to clean up the image.





It may seem confusing at first, but experiment with the tools, and you should get the hang of it.

Now that you have a clean sketch, you should have a darker and somewhat cleaner image:


You can see that there is still some unwanted gray spots and dust all over the image.
With the eraser tool , we erase these spots and get an image that should look neat and almost ready to submit:
